Grab a sheet of paper. Write the number 78 and subtract from it the number of your age.

Circle this new number. It’s the averaged number of years you have left to realize your dreams, the number of years you have left before you die. You might get more. You may have less. Either way, that circled number is smaller than it was last year, and next year is going to be the smallest it’s ever been.

Stop here a few moments; write out the goals you want to achieve. What are you doing – and not doing – to reach these goals in the time you have left?
